Possible grounds of appeal for this contravention
1. Was the bay marked correctly, a Taxi rank must be marked by a broken yellow line around the bay. There is no maximum length but the bay must be between 1800mm and 2700mm wide in order to comply with the regulations. The legend “Taxis” must appear along the length of the bay and on both sides where the bay is situated in the middle of a road. The legend “taxis” should be repeated at a maximum of every 12 meters.
